Medicaid Specialist

Responsibilities:
- Medicaid Eligibility: Conduct thorough assessments of residents' financial and medical situations to determine Medicaid eligibility and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Application Processing: Prepare and submit Medicaid applications to the state, ensuring timely and accurate processing to meet the needs of our residents.
- Benefits Counseling: Educate residents and their families about Medicaid benefits, services, and coverage options, providing personalized guidance to optimize their healthcare experience.
- Communication: Collaborate with internal teams, including social workers, nurses, and administrators, to ensure seamless coordination of care and effective communication with residents and families.
- Compliance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, adhere to Medicaid regulations, and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Requirements:
1-2 years of experience in a similar role
Long term care/rehab experience essential
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
LTC billing and/or medicaid experience required
