Overview
Brad's Chevrolet is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services. You will be responsible for understanding customer needs, providing accurate service recommendations, and ensuring a seamless service experience. Your expertise in automotive repair and sales will be essential in building strong relationships with customers and enhancing their overall satisfaction.
Duties
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive service needs.
- Communicate effectively with service technicians to relay customer concerns and service requests.
- Provide detailed explanations of services offered, including oil changes, diesel engine repairs, air brake systems, shocks, and struts.
- Prepare estimates for repairs and services, ensuring transparency in pricing.
- Manage cash handling processes accurately during transactions.
- Follow up with customers regarding the status of their vehicles and any additional services required.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service history.
- Ensure the service area is clean and organized, promoting a positive customer experience.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or in Automotive Repair is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Familiarity with various automotive services including oil changes, diesel engine repair, air brake systems, shocks, and struts.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and concerns efficiently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $50,000 - $70,000 per year - commission based
