Experienced Car Hauler / Vehicle Transport Specialist

We are seeking a skilled, dependable 3, 4 and 5 Car Hauler / Vehicle Transport Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for a professional driver who takes pride in transporting vehicles safely, efficiently, and with the highest level of care—from inoperable units to brand-new and high-value client vehicles. Regional routes allows home time some week-nights as well as weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a chassis truck and transport vehicles across designated routes
- Load and unload vehicles using proper equipment and securement techniques
- Handle inoperable (non-running) vehicles, including winching and specialized loading procedures
- Provide white-glove transport service for new, luxury, and high-end vehicles, ensuring damage-free delivery
- Manage exclusive client transports with discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and DOT compliance
- Maintain accurate logs, delivery documentation, and schedules
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delays, issues, or route changes
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company protocols
Required Qualifications:
- Valid CDL license (Required) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in car hauling, towing, or vehicle transport
- Hands-on experience handling inoperable or non-running vehicles
- Knowledge of special care procedures for new, luxury, and high-value vehicles
- Current DOT Medical Card (Required)
- Ability to safely operate transport equipment, including winches and tie-down systems
- Strong understanding of load securement and vehicle safety standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- TWIC Card (Preferred)
- Experience with 3, 4 or 5-car hauler trailer (flatbed experience considered case by case basis)
- Background in freight transportation or delivery driving
- Familiarity with efficient route planning and navigation tools
