AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN
Location: Tucson, Arizona
We are an established and busy automotive repair shop of 45 years. We are seeking dependable, motivated technicians ranging from experienced professionals to entry-level technicians who are eager to learn and build a career in the automotive industry.

How Our Pay System Works
Our technicians are W-2 employees and receive a guaranteed number of paid hours each pay period. Your guaranteed hours are established based on your demonstrated productivity, work quality, reliability, and overall performance.
Your paycheck remains consistent based on your guaranteed hours, even during slower periods. Technicians maintain and increase their guaranteed hours by consistently producing quality work, maintaining efficiency, and meeting shop standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics
- Complete maintenance and repair services
- Accurately document repairs and recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow shop procedures and safety standards
- Work effectively with team members
- Communicate repair needs and findings clearly with shop manager
Qualifications
Experienced Technicians:
- Prior automotive repair experience
- Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to perform repairs independently
- ASE certifications preferred, but not required
Entry-Level / Learning Technicians:
- Mechanical aptitude
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Basic automotive knowledge preferred
- Positive attitude and dependability
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Professional attitude and appearance
Compensation
Compensation is based on experience, skill level, productivity, and guaranteed-hour classification.
