Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and overall management of the organization’s programs, staff, and resources to fulfill its mission effectively.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate programs tailored to meet the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring quality and compliance standards are met.
- Lead relationship management efforts by cultivating partnerships with community organizations, government agencies, families, and stakeholders to expand service reach and impact.
- Oversee administrative functions including budgeting, financial planning, reporting, and ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise program managers and staff members, fostering a positive work environment that promotes professional growth and accountability.
- Advocate for individuals served by promoting awareness of behavioral health issues and best practices in social work within the organization’s initiatives.
- Monitor organizational performance through data analysis and feedback mechanisms to continuously improve service delivery.
Requirements
- Proven management experience with a track record of leading teams in social services or related fields.
- Strong background in program development and program management within organizations serving individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of social work principles and practices relevant to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Exceptional relationship management skills to build trustful partnerships with community stakeholders, families, and government entities.
- Experience in administrative functions such as budgeting, financial oversight, compliance documentation, and organizational planning.
- Supervising experience with a focus on team development, performance evaluation, and fostering collaborative work environments.
