Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. As an Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that vehicles are safe and reliable for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of vehicles, including oil changes, brake replacements, and tire rotations.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools to identify necessary repairs.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete automotive service tasks.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to ensure all systems are functioning properly.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their vehicle's condition and needed repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with auto body repair as needed, including welding tasks.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of automotive service procedures and vehicle maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with using schematics for diagnosing vehicle issues is preferred.
- Experience with welding techniques is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
