In this vital role, you will be responsible for supporting housekeeping operations, ensuring all areas are spotless, well-maintained, and welcoming. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, corridors, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, polishing, and specialized floor care techniques to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal
- Assist with linen management, including sorting, folding, and replenishing supplies in guest rooms and service areas
- Support housekeeping management by organizing supplies, restocking amenities, and reporting maintenance issues promptly
- Handle janitorial tasks such as waste disposal, cleaning of windows, mirrors, and fixtures to sustain a spotless environment
- Contribute to industrial cleaning projects when required, utilizing appropriate equipment and safety protocols
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing custodial duties across all areas of the property
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within hospitality or industrial settings
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including polishing, stripping, sealing, and carpet cleaning
- Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality is highly desirable for understanding guest service standards
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and safety procedures to handle large-scale cleaning tasks efficiently
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude and attention to detail
