Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and craft beers, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and provide personalized service that exceeds expectations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, handling cash and credit payments efficiently.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service flow during busy periods, including banquet or catering events if applicable.
Requirements
- Proven experience in bartending within the hospitality industry, especially in fine dining or upscale environments.
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, and craft beer offerings.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume service periods while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Previous experience with beverage recipe development is a plus.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing.
