Salary Range: $56,400 - $68,560
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
The Commercial Relationship Associate II is responsible for all aspects of day-to-day service delivery for the bank’s Commercial clients. Understands and delivers upon the bank’s expectations for a Remarkable Client Experience. Partners effectively with internal colleagues to understand client needs, resolve issues and communicate status. Handles more complex client needs and serves as a mentor for less experienced team members.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Handle routine client service requests/needs including but not limited to loan and deposit account inquiries and maintenance, general research and problem resolution, and debit card issues.
- Execute client transaction requests including line draws, loan pay downs, wire transfers, account transfers and bank checks.
- Provide support to Commercial clients related to online banking, bill pay, ATM/Debit cards and basic Treasury Management requests; appropriately handoff more complex issues to TM/MS colleagues.
- Handle and/or assist with more complex or escalated client needs such as online/foreign wires, fraud issues, migration of clients to digital platform, etc.
- Cross-trained and able to handle more complex digital/TM client needs.
- Coordinate account opening requests with client and Relationship Manager (RM), including the collection, verification and input of Know Your Customer (KYC) information.
- Partner with RM and Treasury Management Sales to seamlessly onboard new client relationships.
- Handle daily insufficient funds review and activity; communicate with clients and RM's to ensure resolution.
- Process ACH line increases per customer request.
- Process estate account transactions and maintenance.
- Update customer data in bank's CRM system as required.
- Provide back up and redundancy for Operations Associate and Professional Practice RA.
- Consistently operate within the bank's compliance and procedural expectations.
- Cross train with Commercial Associate, Professional Practice RA and TM/MS Support team members.
- Mentor less experienced team members; mentor Retail team members to increase their understanding of Commercial client service delivery.
- Provide medallion signature guaranty; may include onsite client visits as needed.
- May provide training to new employees as requested by manager.
- Active participation in demonstrating the behaviors outlined in the GRB Experience.
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:
- Cross sell commercial relationships where applicable
- Respond to requests for credit inquiries as needed.
- Prepare invoice payments for all commercial check orders.
- Assist Relationship Managers in clearing loan exceptions.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Associates Degree with a minimum of 5 years of commercial banking service delivery experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
