Responsibilities
- Perform installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
- Conduct field service operations on HVAC/R (refrigeration) systems, ammonia refrigeration units, and other mechanical equipment.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for repairs when necessary.
- Maintain property by repairing plumbing fixtures, appliances, and ensuring proper operation of mechanical systems.
- Support HVAC design modifications or upgrades based on project requirements or client specifications.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all maintenance activities and document service reports thoroughly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC, refrigeration, or property maintenance roles.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair including boilers and appliances.
- Familiarity with construction processes, schematics reading, HVAC/R systems, and plumbing fundamentals.
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and perform welding or other mechanical repairs confidently.
- Experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems or other specialized HVAC/R applications is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving <PERSON> vehicles is advantageous.
