The Role:
In this procedural nursing role, you will work closely with electrophysiologists, fellows, and cardiovascular specialists in a high-volume EP Lab performing advanced cardiac interventions. The environment is fast-paced and technically complex, yet structured in a way that supports consistency and work-life balance.
On an average day, you will:
Support 8–10 electrophysiology procedures daily, including ablations, pacemaker and defibrillator implants, and lead extractions
Circulate cases and provide precise, real-time procedural documentation
Administer sedation and cardiac medications while closely monitoring patient response
Maintain vigilance in high-acuity situations involving complex arrhythmias and device therapies
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across multiple EP labs within a robust cardiovascular program
This position follows a Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM schedule with minimal call expectations, including limited Saturdays and no routine overnight call. It is an excellent fit for ICU, ED, or stepdown nurses seeking greater predictability without stepping away from advanced clinical care.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire.
Experience: 1 year of relevant experience.
Licensure: Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently traveling, bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20 - 50lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
The pay range for this role is $42.69 - $56.71 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
