We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Sheet Metal Workers to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess experience with installing sheet metal products and structures. This role involves reading blueprints and assembling finished products according to industry standards and safety protocols.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine job requirements.
- Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using hand and power tools.
- Assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products such as HVAC ducts, roofs, panels, and siding.
- Inspect and test completed installations to ensure conformance with specifications and safety standards.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe and orderly condition.
- Follow all safety guidelines and regulations to ensure workplace safety.
- Document work completed and report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors.
- Proficiency in measuring, cutting, and assembling sheet metal components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Familiarity with occupational health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, and working at heights.
- Required:
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- 18 years or older.
- Preferred:
- OSHA or other health and safety certifications.
- Experience working with HVAC systems or industrial ductwork.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Work is performed on construction sites.
- Exposure to noise, dust, and variable weather conditions may occur.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
- Occasional Travel.
