Position Summary
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Senior Recruiter / Talent Acquisition to lead recruiting efforts across multiple markets, including Washington, New York, Los Angeles and future expansion regions.This role will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment, workforce planning, candidate sourcing, interview management, and hiring strategy. In addition to recruiting, the position will provide operational and administrative support to help scale Sellery's rapidly growing team.The ideal candidate is highly organized, recruitment-focused, bilingual in English and Mandarin, and capable of managing multiple hiring initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruiting
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for corporate, operations, account management, creator management, and leadership positions
- Develop recruiting strategies for multiple markets and business units
- Manage job postings, sourcing channels, and candidate pipelines
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and leadership teams
- Conduct reference checks and support offer negotiations
- Track recruiting metrics and hiring performance
- Build talent pipelines for future hiring needs
- Support employer branding and recruitment marketing initiatives
- Partner with leadership to forecast hiring needs and workforce planning
- Coordinate recruiting efforts across Washington, New York, and future expansion markets
Additional Responsibilities
- Support employee onboarding, HR documentation, and basic employee relations initiatives.
- Assist with office administration, operational projects, vendor coordination, and other business support functions as needed.
Qualifications Required
- 3+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR experience
- Experience managing multiple open positions simultaneously
- Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
- Experience recruiting for sales, account management, operations, marketing, or e-commerce roles
- Mandarin Chinese language proficiency is a plus.
- Experience in startups, staffing agencies, or high-growth companies
- Familiarity with recruiting platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, ZipRecruiter, and other sourcing tools
- Experience supporting hiring across multiple states
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field
