Job Summary:
An HR Assistant/Scheduler for our Organziation handles the daily operations of a human resources department, touching almost every part of the employee experience. A Scheduler handles all of the daily scheduling of our staff to clients to ensure that all clients are covered consistently, while meeting the needs of the Clinic and Operational Goals.
Human Resources Generalist Essential Functions:
- Resolving workplace conflicts, advising managers, and conducting misconduct or grievance investigations.
- Maintaining confidential employee records in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) platforms and ensuring the company follows state and federal employment laws.
- Coordinating orientation and training sessions for new employees
- Serving as a point of contact, providing smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to their queries
- Managing and coordinating schedules for the HR department, including meetings and events
- Ensuring compliance with employment and labor laws
- Support managers with routine HR administration, including documentation, policy interpretation, and process guidance
Danbury Center Scheduler Essential Functions:
- Coordinate schedules for the Danbury CT Clinic ABA services.
- Match clients with qualified Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and clinical staff based on location, availability, and clinical needs.
- Adjust schedules to accommodate staff availability, cancellations, and client service changes.
- Monitor staff utilization and identify opportunities to maximize productivity and minimize service gaps.
- Collaborate with Clinical Directors and Operations to ensure continuity of care and efficient service delivery.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of directly related experience supporting HR and recruiting functions in ABA therapy or mental health services (preferable but not required).
- Minimum 2 years in a generalist or hybrid HR role with responsibility across multiple HR functions.
- 2-4 years of clinic scheduling experience; preferably with an ABA therapy or mental health services (preferable but not required).
