Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.

Ensure knowledge of menu and restaurant promotions and specials

Describe all menu items, prices, and methods of preparation.

Use suggestive selling techniques to encourage selection of items that are house specialties.

Take guest beverage and/or food orders and input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system.

Retrieve and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner.

Serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations.

Replenish beverages and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service.

Ensure serving stations is always well-stocked.

Control guest checks and secure proper payment

Complete and perform various side duties as needed.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day/night shifts, weekends and holidays.

Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player.

Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.

Two years high volume cocktail server experience and one year resort or country club experience required.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Language Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to communicate and work well with fellow employees and other departments. Maintain a presentable appearance, behavior and manner at all times. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
