Part Time Music Teacher
Job Description:
St Isaac Jogues Catholic school is seeking a Music teacher for Kindergarten through Eighth grade. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to provide students with strong foundational Music education through active instruction. The selected candidate would become a member of the St Isaac Jogues Shared Time team through Redford Union School District.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- BA/BS degree in Music Education
- Must hold a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate
- Must hold or achieve Protecting God’s Children Certificate and be subject to Criminal History Background/Fingerprint check
- Previous experience teaching Music at the primary/elementary and Middle school grade levels
- Strong Classroom management
- Develop and implement lesson plans appropriate for each grade level
- Work as a member of the St Isaac Jogues team to ensure cross curriculum connections
- Ability to effectively communicate with parents, coworkers and students
- Commitment to support our Catholic identity where Christ Our Teacher
