Responsibilities

- Administer various massage techniques, including trigger point therapy, to alleviate pain and promote relaxation.
- Maintain accurate records of treatments provided and patient progress.
- Educate patients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in occupational health settings when required.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices in massage therapy.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively assess and treat patients.
- Proficient in patient assessment techniques to identify specific needs.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to massage therapy and pain management.
- Excellent customer service skills to enhance the client experience.
- Experience in med spa environments is a plus but not required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients about their treatment plans and progress.
- Knowledge of pain management strategies through therapeutic interventions.
