Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Delivery Driver/Compounding Lab Assistant to join our dynamic team. This dual-role position combines the essential responsibilities of safely delivering products to customers while supporting the compounding laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional customer service. You will play a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining accurate handling of materials, and supporting the overall efficiency of our lab processes. Responsibilities
- Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and personal vehicles, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
- Load, unload, and secure materials using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Plan efficient delivery routes using mobile devices to ensure timely service across designated areas.
- Deliver compounded medications and supplies directly to customers’ locations while providing excellent customer service with professionalism and courtesy.
- Assist in the compounding lab in the morning and after deliveries are complete
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, route logs, inventory movements, and lab documentation.
- Support Lab operations by organizing stock, managing inventory levels, and ensuring a clean, safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a strong understanding of delivery driving best practices.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record;
- Ability to operate automatic transmission vehicles confidently;
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Physical ability to lift heavy items safely using proper lifting techniques; comfortable with manual handling tasks involved in warehouse work.
- Knowledge of route planning using mobile devices and adherence to traffic laws for safe driving practices.
