Veterinary Assistant
Calabasas Community Veterinary Center | Calabasas, CA Pay: $20–32/hr, depending on experience

Our administrative leadership brings over 35 years of combined experience in general practice and across specialty medicine, including ECC, internal medicine, and surgery, with board-certified specialists consulting alongside us to help set the standard.
What you'll actually be doing
- Restraint, patient handling, and exam room flow
- Wellness care support, diagnostics, and treatments
- Lab work and radiology support
- Triage support, hospitalization care, and anesthesia/sedation assistance on Urgent Care shifts
- Client communication that makes a nervous pet parent feel like they're in good hands
What we're hoping you bring
- Prior veterinary hospital experience preferred, urgent care or emergency experience a plus for the Urgent Care track
- Steady hands and a calm presence with nervous patients, and a level head when things move fast
- Genuine care for your patients and the humans attached to them
Shifts and perks
- Daytime, early swing, and overnight shifts available. Overnight shifts require a Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit (VACSP)
- 8-hour shifts for now, moving to 10s pending a team vote (your call, literally)
