Summary
We are seeking a dedicated ultrasound technologist to join our team at Houston Family Physicians PA. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional medical care, conducting physical examinations, and developing personalized care plans for our patients. Your expertise will be vital in enhancing the health and well-being of our community.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Able to work on every Thursday morning 9am to 2 pm
- Perform ultrasound procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards
.- Prepare and maintain ultrasound equipment and supplies.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations.
- Analyze and interpret ultrasound images, providing preliminary findings to the physician.- Document patient information and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and infection control protocols.**Qualifications:**
- Associate’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification preferred.
- at least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting preferred.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 per week
