Electrical Technician - Apprentice / JourneymanOverview
We are looking for an Electrical Apprentice or Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team. The position is primarily based in Lewisville, TX, with approximately 50% travel depending on project requirements.
This is a hands-on role with strong advancement opportunities for individuals who want to grow their electrical and technical skills.
Responsibilities
- Install and troubleshoot single-phase electrical systems.
- Work with 400A, 600A, and 800A electrical services.
- Install lights, outlets, panels, disconnects, and electrical equipment.
- Install and wire transfer switches, generator plugs, and backup power systems.
- Perform telecom DC power work, including systems up to 500A.
- Install and maintain telecom power plants, rectifiers, batteries, and DC distribution.
- Read electrical schematics, blueprints, and one-line diagrams.
- Use multimeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other test equipment.
- Follow NEC, NFPA 70, OSHA, and company safety requirements.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and assist with new installations and service upgrades.
- Travel to project sites as required.
Qualifications
- Apprentice or Journeyman Electrician with hands-on field experience.
- Experience with single-phase wiring preferred.
- Experience with 400A–800A services strongly preferred.
- Experience with transfer switches, generators, lighting, outlets, and panels.
- Telecom DC power experience up to 500A is a strong plus.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
