Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $50.00 to $60.00 per hour.
Manage month end close activities by preparing journal entries reconciliations and supporting financial schedules.
Maintain general ledger accuracy through account analysis cash reconciliations and review of financial transactions.
Prepare customer invoices and support collection activities to ensure timely receipt of payments.
Partner with internal teams to gather financial information and support reporting analysis and operational decisions.
Assist with audits compliance initiatives and process improvement projects that enhance accounting efficiency.
A Bachelor degree in accounting finance or a related field.
3+ years of public accounting experience with additional industry experience considered beneficial.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of accounting principles financial reporting and close procedures.
Possess experience preparing reconciliations researching discrepancies and maintaining accurate financial records.
Use Excel and enterprise accounting systems effectively while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Analyze financial results and provide meaningful explanations for variances and performance trends.
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external parties to resolve accounting matters.
Maintain exceptional attention to detail and accuracy across all reporting and documentation activities.
Identify opportunities to improve processes strengthen controls and support organizational growth.
- Bring experience in project based accounting cost analysis or high growth business environments considered advantageous.
