CNC Operator, 2nd Shift $18-$22
Location: Murrieta, CA
Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 3:15pm- 1:45am, 4/10 Schedule
Job Description
We are currently seeking a CNC Machine Operator for a Manufacturing facility. You will run and monitor the CNC equipment, and conduct quality checks to ensure the machine is running properly, and that parts are being produced according to specifications. Accuracy is crucial, so attention and focus on the work is required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyzes machining work orders, blueprints, drawings, materials, and other data specifications.
- Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces; adhering to standards.
- Maintains batch by observing operations; taking measurements
- May assist with detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting; adjusting controls; replacing worn tools.
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Prior experience running a CNC Lathe in a machine shop or Manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with Fanuc and Mitsubishi Controllers, CNC Mill experience a plus
- Mechanical ability, Conceptual Skills, Technical Skills
- Experience working with Brass and Stainless steel and Plastics a plus
- Experience with Kia, Hwacheon, Rapido, Nakamura, and Mori preferred
- Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, able to stand during shift.
- Good vision abilities, close and distant. Good hand to eye coordination.
- Drug Screen and Background Check required.
