The Arc of Monmouth, a not-for-profit agency serving the Intellectual and Developmentally Disabled community, seeks a Registered Behavioral Technician to join our team!
- Free supervision hours are available for student analysts pursuing BCBA certification.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Health or related field is required. Two to three years of experience working with individuals in the I/DD community.
- Registered Behavioral Technician certification
- Valid non- probationary NJ driver’s license and a record that is acceptable to The Arc and its insurer.
Summary of Job Duties:
1. Provide direct care to served individuals on a one-to-one or group therapy setting to implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction treatments as directed by BCBA.
2. Display a compassionate nature, empathy, and discretion in work.
3. Develop and maintain relationships with participants.
4. Collect, analyze, and record data on participants behavior in Therap and/or enter data manually as needed. Assist BCBA in the writing of plans.
5. Collaborate, communicate, and assist with the training of participants, parents/guardians, and staff.
6. Provide a safe and supportive environment for participants, staff, and families.
7. Perform any other duties as assigned. Be willing to travel between various locations throughout the course of the day. Must be flexible.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 per hour
