Decks, screened porches, louvered pergolas — the kind of spaces that change how people live in their homes. The Role
You are the first voice someone hears when they reach out to Lakeside Decking. That moment — right after someone submits a form or picks up the phone — is one of the most important in our entire sales process. Your job is to be there immediately, make a great impression, and turn that interest into a scheduled consultation with our Design Consultant.

Day to day, you'll be:
- Calling inbound leads within 30 seconds of inquiry — speed to lead is everything
- Scheduling consultations and appointments for our Design Consultant
- Confirming appointments and keeping our pipeline organized in our CRM
- Handling initial questions and objections with confidence and warmth
- Following up with homeowners who didn't move forward after a consultation — building the relationship, checking in, and finding opportunities to bring them back
- Supporting office operations, in-person events like home shows and street fairs, and eventually contributing to marketing and social media efforts as we grow
- Giving us honest feedback on how to do things better — we mean that
You're probably a fit if you:
- Have a warm, outgoing personality that comes through on the phone — people feel good after talking to you
- Are organized to a fault — nothing falls through the cracks on your watch
- Communicate clearly and confidently, even when the conversation gets a little tricky
- Take ownership of your work — you make the role yours, not just the job description
- Are tech-comfortable and pick up new systems quickly (we use a CRM daily)
- Want a career, not just a paycheck — and mean it
- Are genuinely excited about being part of something that's building toward something bigger
Experience in customer service, scheduling, or a phone-based role is strongly preferred — but not required if you're the right person.

This role comes with a base salary and a performance bonus structure tied to how quickly you're converting leads into booked appointments. The faster you move, the more you earn. It's straightforward, it's fair, and it's designed to reward exactly the behavior that makes this role work.
