Waxahachie Ford is seeking an experienced Senior Master Automotive Service Technician to join our service department. The ideal candidate will be Ford Senior Master Certified, with extensive knowledge in advanced diagnostics and repair across all vehicle systems. This role is key in upholding Waxahachie Ford’s reputation for quality, accuracy, and superior customer service while mentoring junior technicians and supporting shop leadership.
Perform complex diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs across all vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, HVAC, steering, suspension, and braking systems
Accurately complete work specified on repair orders in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding diagnoses, repair timelines, and additional recommended services
Conduct comprehensive inspections and multi-point checks to ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards
Execute warranty repairs according to Ford manufacturer guidelines
Stay current on Ford technical bulletins, recalls, and required training certifications
Mentor and guide less-experienced technicians, fostering skill development and efficiency
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Ford Senior Master Technician Certification highly recommended
5+ years of professional automotive repair experience (Ford dealership experience strongly preferred)
Strong expertise in diagnostics, electrical systems, and advanced repair procedures
High school diploma or equivalent required
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
