Job Title: Inventory Specialist

Pay Rate: $23.00/hour

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Inventory Specialist to support inventory accuracy, material movement, and shipping/receiving operations in a fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for maintaining organized inventory, tracking parts and materials, supporting cycle counts, and ensuring products are received, stored, and distributed accurately. The ideal candidate has experience in warehouse or inventory control environments, is comfortable using ERP/WMS systems, and can work efficiently while maintaining safety and accuracy standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records for parts, materials, tools, and equipment
- Perform cycle counts, spot checks, and inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy
- Receive incoming shipments, verify materials against packing slips or purchase orders, and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare and process outbound shipments, including staging, packaging, labeling, and documentation
- Track inventory movement within the facility and update inventory systems accordingly
- Organize stockroom, warehouse, and staging areas to support efficient material flow
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages, damaged goods, or inconsistencies
- Support loading and unloading of trailers, pallets, and materials using warehouse equipment as needed
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials to production or operations teams
- Maintain compliance with company safety standards, PPE requirements, and warehouse procedures
- Assist with process improvements related to inventory control, organization, and warehouse efficiency
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in inventory control, shipping/receiving, warehouse operations, or material handling
- Experience with cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, and stock tracking
- Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or similar inventory software
- Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials in a warehouse environment
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting with changing priorities
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
