Salary range: $70-90K annually depending on years of experience and employment longevity

MyTeam Medical Staffing seeks to place an Assistant Clinical Manager with a surgical specialty outpatient clinic. The Assistant Clinical Manager must be a working clinical medical assistant or LPN with a minimum of three years of clinical management experience. Assistant Clinical Manager is responsible for the day-to-day direction and performance of the clinic(s). Responsible for overseeing and directing all back-office clinic operations and personnel. Ensures cost-effective, efficient management of clinic operations while promoting an environment of teamwork and cooperation among staff and physicians. Participates in the care of patients when necessary. Leads the clinic in workflow optimization and continuous improvement efforts. Responsible for standardizing processes and overseeing clinical department/staff.
Job Qualifications (including education and experience)
- Required graduate of accredited school of nursing with a degree as RN or LPN, and/or equivalent experience, required
- Required graduate of an accredited MA program, or, AAS but AAS is not required
- Oregon Nursing unencumbered license either RN or LPN required
- MA National Certification required, e.g., CMA (AAMA), RMA (AMT), NCMA (NCCT), CCMA (NHA), etc., required
- Minimum 3 years of current experience in surgical specialty preferred
- Minimum 3 years of current leadership/management experience required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organization and time management skills with proficiency in computers.
- Legal to drive in the state of Oregon and Washington, required.

- Participates in regular meetings that are held with COO and/or management team meetings to discuss status of clinic operations, new programs/services, and to review financial and operations data.
- Assists in the development of a short- and long-term goals for strategic planning. Works with physicians and staff to implement clinic goals and objectives in support of strategic plan.
- Creates and oversees policies and procedures for all clinical staff.
- Handles clinical patient complaints, monitors and follows up on internet rankings and associated comments.
- Continues to develop department protocols. Annually reviews to maintain protocols (revisions, updates).
- Promotes a development-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, high performance, and excellent customer service.Regularly exercises independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance to Clinic
- Creates and adjusts MA schedules or provides coverage for all physicians at all locations.
- Oversees all clinical staff.
- Notifies, and works with HR regarding employee disciplinary actions, reviews, and check-ins.
- Assists in facilitating regular staff meetings to inform staff of changes in the practice policies, to update and educate and to resolve/prevent problems.
- Monitors activities and operations to ensure clinic successfully meets it objectives.
- Manages patient clinical concerns/complaints.
- Directs implementation of operational systems to achieve effective and efficient management of workloads and workflow.
- Standardizes procedures and initiates change where necessary; constantly reviewing procedures to strive for more efficient ways to conduct business and improve patient relations.
- Oversees inventory and approves clinical supply orders.
- Assists IT department with equipment repair orders.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
