Overview
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Preschool Assistant to support our teaching team in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and enjoys helping children learn through play.
Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher with planning and delivering age-appropriate activities.
- Supervise children during classroom, outdoor, and meal times.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized learning environment.
- Support children's social, emotional, and physical development.
- Encourage positive behavior and model respectful interactions.
- Assist with daily routines, including toileting, handwashing, and snack times.
- Communicate professionally with staff and parents when required.
Requirements
- A genuine passion for working with young children.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Patient, caring, and dependable.
- Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is preferred but not essential.
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to pass any required background checks.
