We're looking for a reliable, energetic Front Desk/Sales Associate who is passionate about fitness, people-focused, and motivated by results.
Job Summary:
As a Front Desk/Sales Associate, you are the first point of contact for prospective and current members. You will greet members, answer questions, handle administrative tasks, and most importantly drive new member sign-ups through friendly, confident sales conversations and sales quotas. This role offers commission on each successful membership sale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet members and guests warmly and professionally.
- Conduct gym tours for prospective members.
- Assist guests in booking free classes or signing up for memberships.
- Respond to phone, email, and in-person inquiries.
- Process memberships, payments, and manage basic billing tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby area.
- Promote gym programs, events, and merchandise.
- Use gym software to manage member check-ins and update profiles.
- Support the team by fostering a friendly and inclusive environment.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable speaking with new people and explaining pricing/membership options.
- Prior customer service, sales, or fitness experience preferred.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills (experience with gym software is a plus).
- Available to work evenings or weekends as needed.
