Interstate Improvement, Inc. is a general highway contractor based in Faribault, MN. We perform highway repair throughout the continental US.
The position will require the ability to travel 100% nationwide. You will be working on a diamond grinding crew which planes highways smooth. The tanker driving position will entail driving a tractor -tanker trailer combo hauling water or slurry water, hooking & unhooking hoses from the diamond grinder, filling and dumping the tanker, and spraying the tanker down to wash of any excess slurry. Light manual labor is required.
Qualifications/ required skills
- Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement
- Capable of & licensed to operate manual transmission tractor
- Must have an acceptable motor vehicle record
- Able to pass Pre-Employment drug screen
- Ability to be away from home for extended periods of time
- 21 years of age or older
- Ability to work extended hours in adverse weather conditions
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more
- Willingness to follow directions, be productive without constant supervision all while remaining safety conscious
