Parkside Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation is currently seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled nursing facility team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping residents improve their independence and quality of life through occupational therapy.
What We Offer:
- Weekly Pay
- Up to $85,000 per year
- $5,000 Sign-On Bonus
- Flexible Schedule – Full-Time / Part-Time / PRN
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist
- Provide therapy treatments and therapeutic activities as directed
- Document patient progress and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care
- Educate residents and families on therapeutic exercises and activities to support recovery and independence
Requirements
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
- Experience in skilled nursing, rehab, home health, or acute care settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of patient care, medical terminology, and rehabilitation practices
- Ability to work with geriatric patients in a long-term care setting
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach
