Job Description
We are looking for a dependable, skilled Handyman / Building Maintenance Technician to keep our preschool in excellent condition. The ideal candidate is experienced in general building maintenance, takes pride in quality work, and can handle a wide variety of repairs independently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general building maintenance and repairs.
- Complete interior and exterior painting with a professional finish.
- Repair doors, locks, cabinets, furniture, playground equipment, and other everyday items.
- Perform basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, and miscellaneous handyman repairs.
- Complete preventative maintenance to keep the facility safe and operating efficiently.
- Identify and resolve maintenance issues before they become major problems.
- Maintain a clean, organized maintenance area and complete a daily maintenance log.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in building maintenance or as a handyman.
- Excellent painting skills are required.
- Strong knowledge of drywall, carpentry, plumbing, and basic electrical repairs.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in producing quality work.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
