Overview
Seeking a compassionate non smoking and dedicated PPL Registered Caregiver, providing exceptional care and support to a self directing client / patient. This role is perfect for energetic professionals committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those they serve.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities
- Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or cognitive disabilities, including memory care strategies and behavior management
- Support residents with meal preparation
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through routine cleaning and infection control practices
- Communicate effectively with client
Requirements
- Proven assisted living or long-term care experience, including home & community care settings
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer’s disease
- Knowledge of geriatrics, memory care techniques, and behavior management strategies
- Certification in CPR and first aid is required; additional certifications in medication administration or safe patient lifting are preferred
- Ability to operate standard passenger cars safely for client transportation purposes
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- PPL registered applicant is highly desirable

Pay: Up to $240.00 per day
