Responsibilities
- Provide attentive supervision and care for children of various ages, including toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that support childhood development, early education, and social skills.
- Ensure safety by practicing proper child supervision techniques, adhering to mandated reporting laws, and maintaining a secure environment at all times.
- Administer basic first aid and CPR when necessary, responding promptly to any health or safety concerns.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about daily activities, progress, and any concerns regarding their child's well-being.
- Support individuals with disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized caregiving tailored to their specific needs.
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering (for infants), dressing, and toileting to promote independence and comfort.
Skills
- Proven experience working with children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children.
- Strong background in childhood development principles, early childhood education, and behavior management strategies.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly valued.
- Knowledge of activity planning for children that encourages learning through play and social interaction.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration.
- Classroom or daycare experience demonstrating reliable caregiving skills in fast-paced environments.

Pay: $15.75 - $17.00 per hour
