Responsibilities
- Conduct door-to-door canvassing campaigns to introduce our offerings to potential customers within local communities
- Engage in face-to-face communication with community members, explaining product or service benefits clearly and enthusiastically
- Utilize mobile devices to record interactions, update customer information, and track progress throughout your shifts
- Build rapport with diverse audiences through conversational engagement and active listening techniques
- Negotiate with prospects to address questions or concerns and encourage participation or sign-ups
- Participate in outdoor work environments, walking extensively to cover assigned areas efficiently
- Support fundraising initiatives or community programs by promoting awareness and gathering support
Requirements
- Proven experience in field sales, canvassing, or door-to-door outreach preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect naturally with people from various backgrounds
- Bilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse communities effectively
- Experience in customer service or community engagement roles is highly desirable
- Comfortable walking outdoors for extended periods and working in various weather conditions
- Familiarity with mobile devices for data entry and communication purposes
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and handle face-to-face conversations confidently
- Prior experience in telemarketing or fundraising is advantageous but not required
- Supervising experience is a plus for candidates interested in leadership opportunities
