American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a seasonal Operating Room position requiring at least 1 year of recent acute care OR experience and a KS or compact RN license.

Work in the OR Surgery department of a 28-bed hospital unit
-
Perform surgical procedures including orthopedics, GYN, general, urology, cardiothoracic, vascular, plastics, dental, eyes, pediatrics, spine, neuro, and trauma cases

Utilize DaVinci Robotics (SI, XI, and Mako) surgical equipment

Documentation performed in Meditech/CPN EMR system
-
1:1 patient ratio
-
13-week assignment with a 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM shift schedule

Flexible scheduling options between 4x10-hour or 3x12-hour shifts

Required to work one late night per week, one 8-hour Saturday shift every 4th week, and one 8-hour call shift per month on Saturday or Sunday

On-call response time of 30 minutes required

Active KS or compact RN license required

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum 1 year of recent acute care OR RN hospital experience required

Experience with DaVinci Robotics preferred

Ortho, neurology, and vascular experience highly preferred

Prior Meditech experience preferred

US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)

Professional references required (2 references for FL and MO, 1 reference for all other states)

No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced surgical setting across a wide range of specialties

Strong communication with staff and providers is essential to this role

Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
