Member Duties : DUTIES -The mental health outreach specialist works to promote and protect mental health in the community through education about resources and programs that promote mental wellbeing. -Create safe space for open community or one-on-one- dialogs about mental health to take place -Educate the community about warning signs and symptoms of mental illness -Facilitate mental health awareness community events -Create mental health awareness material -Compile mental health resource lists for community -Share strategies and tools for addressing mental health stressors
