About Golden Home Access
We help Northern California seniors stay safe and independent in the homes they love. We design and install stairlifts, vertical platform lifts, ramps, grab bars, and other home accessibility solutions — and we hold ourselves to a standard of care and craftsmanship that most contractors don't. Every job we do means a parent, grandparent, or neighbor gets to keep their independence a little longer. We take that seriously, and we have a good time doing it.

The Role
This is not a dead-end warehouse job. We're hiring someone to keep our operation running smoothly and learn the trade from the ground up with a real, defined path to becoming an Installation Technician. You'll start by owning our warehouse, equipment, and vehicle readiness, and you'll be in the field as a second set of hands on installs from early on. As you build skills, you'll take on more of the install work itself, with pay increases tied to what you can do.
If you're reliable, good with your hands, and want to build a career in a skilled trade — not just clock in and out — this is built for you.
What You'll Do
Warehouse & inventory
- Verify incoming inventory against orders and flag discrepancies
- Perform daily inventory counts and keep our stock organized and accounted for
- Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and orderly
Equipment & vehicle readiness
- Prep and stage the next day's install equipment; load and organize the vans
- Maintain hand and power tools — keep them clean, charged, accounted for, and in working order
- Handle routine vehicle upkeep (fluids, tire pressure, cleanliness, scheduling service) so our trucks are always ready to roll
In the field
- Assist our technicians on installations as a second set of hands — carrying, positioning, holding, fetching, and learning
Room to Grow
We're a growing company, and we're genuinely invested in developing the right person. We offer real work to learn from, technicians willing to teach, and a real commitment to investing in someone who wants to build a career in this trade.
If you are interested, this role can be a launching pad toward becoming an Installation Technician. You'd start by mastering the warehouse, equipment, and install-assist side of the business. As you show the skill, reliability, and drive, we'll invest in teaching you the trade — working toward the day you can install on your own. We'll be honest with you about where you stand and what it takes to keep growing, and as you take on more, your pay grows with you.
If becoming a skilled technician is where you want to go, we want to help you get there.
What We're Looking For
- A team player — you show up, you pitch in, and people like working alongside you
- Trustworthy — you'll handle valuable equipment, work in customers' homes, and represent our company; we need someone we can count on without looking over their shoulder
- Mechanically inclined — you don't need formal experience, but you should be comfortable with tools, able to follow instructions and diagrams, and genuinely interested in learning how things go together
- Dependable and detail-oriented — counts that are accurate, vans that are loaded right, tools that are where they should be
- Customer-respectful — courteous and professional in seniors' homes
Requirements
- Must be 21 or older with a valid California driver's license and a clean driving record (you'll drive company vehicles; we run a motor vehicle record check)
- Able to lift and carry up to 50-75 lbs, work on ladders and stairs, and kneel, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Able to pass a background check (conducted after a conditional offer)
- Reliable transportation to our warehouse
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
