Job Summary:
As a Wire EDM Operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations, responsible for the efficient and precise operation of our Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment. Your expertise in this specialized field will be instrumental in ensuring the production of high-quality components and parts that meet the stringent requirements of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain Wire EDM machines to perform complex cutting and shaping operations
- Inspect equipment and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Set up and configure EDM machines for various cutting tasks, including the selection and installation of appropriate cutting tools
- Monitor the machining process and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency
- Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot issues and implement process improvements
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in Foundry, CNC Machining, and Machine Operation
- Proficient in the use of cutting tools and equipment inspection
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment
Working Conditions:
This position is based in a machine shop environment and may involve exposure to noise, vibrations, and other physical demands associated with operating heavy machinery.
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive pay range of $20- $25 per hour, depending on experience.
