We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Safety Coordinator to champion safety excellence on specific construction project. In this pivotal role, you will lead safety initiatives, ensure compliance with industry standards, and foster a culture of safety awareness among all team members. Your expertise will help mitigate risks, promote occupational health, and uphold the highest safety standards on construction sites. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on project success and worker well-being through proactive safety management. In addition to project, you will assist our head Project Manager with on going Employee Safety training.
Duties
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive safety plans aligned with construction site safety regulations and ANSI standards.
- Work Daily with our Company Safety director and on site construction crews.
- Attend Regular Construction Manager meetings and meet their requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards related to electrical safety procedures, occupational health risks, and general construction safety practices.
- Lead safety training sessions and toolbox talks to ensure all personnel understand OSHA, NFPA, NEC, and other relevant standards.
- Manage risk assessments and oversee workers' compensation processes to address workplace injuries promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with construction management teams to ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, and other applicable codes.
- Maintain accurate records of safety audits, incident reports, training logs, and compliance documentation using construction management software.
- Coordinate emergency response procedures including first aid and CPR readiness, ensuring swift action in case of incidents.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations, OSHA standards, NFPA standards, NEC codes, and ANSI standards.
- Proven experience in construction site safety management and risk mitigation strategies.
- Strong occupational health expertise with the ability to implement effective safety training programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software for record-keeping and reporting.
- Excellent team leadership skills with the ability to influence a diverse workforce toward a culture of safety excellence.
- Familiarity with electrical safety procedures, EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) protocols, and compliance management practices.
- Ability to conduct thorough hazard assessments and develop actionable mitigation plans aligned with construction regulatory compliance.

Pay: $57,334.84 - $69,048.41 per year
