Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Serve food, cocktails, wine, spirits, and beverages with professionalism and flair
- Upsell menu items and drink specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Process cash, credit card transactions, and handle POS operations efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards, including bussing tables and food handling procedures
- Assist with food preparation, wine knowledge recommendations, and ensuring food safety compliance
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly and resolving any issues with a positive attitude
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Knowledge of cocktail mixing, spirits, wine varieties, and beverage service techniques
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Ability to process sales transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for handling cash and calculating bills confidently
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain required sanitation training
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus but not mandatory
- OpenTable familiarity for reservations management is advantageous
