Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Medical/Surgical care to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients across various medical and surgical units, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through expert assessment, intervention, and education. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories to inform individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately, including IV infusions, injections, suturing, and wound care, adhering strictly to aseptic techniques.
- Monitor patient progress continuously, utilizing advanced EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for patients with complex needs, including those requiring critical care or post-operative management.
- Assist with diagnostic procedures such as catheterization, laboratory specimen collection, and imaging studies like CT scans or sonography.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding treatment plans, medication administration, discharge instructions, and health promotion strategies.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Support triage activities in emergency or urgent care settings by prioritizing patient needs based on acuity levels.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives aligned with NCQA standards and hospital policies.
- Demonstrate proficiency in handling diverse patient populations, including individuals with developmental disabilities or memory care needs.
MUST HAVE: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) and OH State License

2 year of Experience – REQUIRED
Shift Timings: Nights: 7:00 pm - 7:30 am (12 hrs)

Pay: $61.00 - $62.00 per hour
