Spring Creek Kennel & Cattery is a family owned dog and cat boarding facility in Spring Valley, CA. We are seeking a Flexible Full-Time Experienced Kennel Attendant who is knowledgeable about pets, customer service oriented, enthusiastic and hard-working.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform all tasks of kennel attendant proficiently on a daily basis. This includes but is not limited to the following: Hourly Cleaning, Dishes, Wysiwashing, Mopping, Vacuuming, Laundry, Feeding, Medicating, Deep Cleaning Tasks etc.
- Exhibit honesty, discretion and sound judgment
- Promote positive work morale by maintaining a positive outlook
- Maintain composure and friendly demeanor while dealing with stressful situations
- Provide Grooming Services when necessary (Flea Baths, Nail Trim, Baths etc.)
- Administer Medications and be confident pilling pets if needed
- Ensure all pets are fed, medicated, watered, exercised and in good health
The following Training, Skills, Knowledge and/or Experience are required for this job title:
- Flexible Availability. MUST be Able to work any shift and must be available weekends and holidays. MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK ON SUNDAYS.
- Must be able to swim. There is a pool on-site at one of our locations
- Must have experience with dogs and cats of all breeds and ages
- Must genuinely enjoy taking care of animals and putting their well-being first.
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently without direct supervision
- Possess high energy, enthusiasm and maintain a persistent mind-set
- Able to properly handle, exercise and control large or difficult pets
- Must have a reliable vehicle and direct phone contact
- Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
Must be able to work closely with animal dander/hair. Our facility is drug and alcohol free and all employees are subject to testing.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
