What You'll Do
As an Automotive Service Technician, you'll perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs according to Acura and dealership standards while delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform vehicle maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs efficiently and accurately.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns using factory procedures and diagnostic equipment.
- Complete repair orders thoroughly, documenting the customer's concern, cause of failure, and corrective action.
- Perform manufacturer warranty repairs in accordance with Acura guidelines.
- Conduct multi-point inspections and recommend additional maintenance or repairs when appropriate.
- Communicate repair needs clearly with service advisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Road test vehicles when necessary to verify repairs.
- Assist and mentor apprentice technicians as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous automotive technician experience required.
- Honda or Acura experience is preferred but not required.
- ASE Certifications are a plus.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional attitude with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Must possess your own basic hand tools.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
