Job Description:
Granite State Specialties is looking for a safe, reliable, resourceful, experienced local truck driver to join our team. Truck Driver will be responsible for the safe operation of a commercial vehicle and the reliable deliveries to our clients and crew along with maintaining warehouse and delivery schedule.
Job Requirements:
· 21 years or older and able to work in the United States
· Have a minimum of one year of driving experience with box trucks or larger.
· Have a good driving record and agree to a background check.
· Able to read/work with GPS and cell phone.
· Able to pass a drug test and have a DOT Medical Card
· Able to lift 75lbs unassisted.
· Available for early morning starts, hours will vary.
· Be punctual and able to work independently.
· Willing and able to fill out mileage log and all necessary paperwork.
· Able to drive a 20' & 26’ Box Truck within city limits.
· Work with the Warehouse Supervisor on deliveries and scheduling
· Proficient forklift operational skills are a must.
Job Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Loading and Unloading of Finish Materials both at our warehouse and assisting installers with unloading truck at jobsites, candidate must be able to move material without causing damage to the product.
Keep Trucks clean, organized, and neat.
Driving Daily in the Boston areas; routes will change daily based on schedule.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
