Small animal only single doctor practice looking for an experienced customer service representative, wiling to help us keep up with the changing ! Weekly hours would ideally be M, W, F 8:30am-6pm, Tuesday 7:20-1pm, and Thursday either 7:20am-4:30pm or 8:30am-6pm. The employee would get to select their Thursday preference at hire. Business hours are 7:30am-5:30pm, lunches are 1 hour long, and benefits start at 90 days.
Some of the job duties of a CSR are: Scheduling appointments, reminder phone calls, answering emails, text messages, phone calls, managing the online pharmacy, filling medications, record keeping in electronic medical records, checking out clients, discussing recommendations and estimates for wellness appointments, maintaining a clean working environment, and helping other staff members with daily tasks. Excellent typing and phone skills are a necessity.
Experience with Cornerstone practice management software, PetDesk, Covetrus online pharmacy, Trupanion Express, CareCredit, and Cherry are beneficial, but not required.
This is a full time position, scheduled for 37-40 hours per week. The schedule is regularly the same week to week but opening and closing days will vary. The Veterinary Hospital of Oak Ridge is open M-F 7:30am-5:30pm. There will be 1 day of 7:20am-1:00 pm, 3 days of 8:30am-6pm, and 1 day of 7:20am-4:00 pm.
