Summary
We are seeking an Office Manager/ Store Support Administrator to join our team at Sound Feet Shoes. In this role, you will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, supporting our staff and enhancing customer satisfaction. Your organizational skills and commitment to service will help us maintain our reputation as the premier shoe store in the Outer Banks.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations and ensure efficient workflow.
- Your schedule will be Monday-Friday. With an occasional Saturday or Sunday required based on business needs.
- Peak Season this position will support store coverage and may be required to travel to a store for work.
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide exceptional service over the phone and in person.
- Oversee general office support and adminstration staff of up to 4
- Maintain organized filing systems for documents and records.
- Conduct interviews/hiring
- Facilitate store support, answer all escalations, help direct, etc.
- Coordinate schedules and appointments for staff as needed.
- Support inventory management by tracking stock levels and assisting with orders.
- Handle incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy, addressing customer needs promptly.
- Assist in various administrative tasks to support store operations.
- Travel to stores as needed to cover shifts.
Requirements
- Must be reliable with your own form of transportation as you may need to run errands and/or cover a shift in a store and will need to be able to get to and from the office independently.
- Proven experience as an office administrator or similar role.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills and phone etiquette.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
