We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dental Office Front Office Receptionist to join our dynamic dental practice. Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive first impression
- Manage patient scheduling using dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft, including appointment confirmations and rescheduling
- Verify insurance coverage, process insurance claims, and perform insurance verification.
- Handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism, answering inquiries and directing calls appropriately
- Collect patient information, update medical records accurately, and review documentation for completeness and accuracy
- Assist with billing procedures including medical collection processes, coding (CPT, ICD-9/10), and medical billing tasks
- Maintain organized filing systems for dental records, medical records, and administrative documents in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Support office management tasks such as inventory management, filing, data entry (including 10 key typing), and general clerical duties
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a dental environment is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology
- Proficiency with dental software such as Eaglesoft
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and electronic health record (EHR) systems such as eClinicalWorks or Athenahealth
- Exceptional phone etiquette with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and data entry
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
