We are seeking a passionate and dedicated person for 10 to 20 hours per week in Customer Service/ Food Preparer/ Barista with experience who is not afraid to smile and speak to clients , to join our team. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in coffee and customer service will ensure that each guest enjoys an exceptional experience at our establishment.
We are competitive as we pay above minimum wage plus tip.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food and serve a variety of coffee and espresso-based drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately, including managing cash and credit card payments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment and dining areas.
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders while providing recommendations, answering questions, and making recommendations and upselling.
- Create real relationships with each and every customer
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or retail environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and basic retail math skills.
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Experience with Clover POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A friendly demeanor and SMILEY with strong communication skills to engage effectively with customers.

Pay: $17.30 - $22.00 per hour
